Flori-duh no longer has stupidest high court

From the Department of What The Hell™ Were They Smoking?, the Washington State Not-So Supreme Court has issued what, in this scribe's opinion, has to be a finalist for the 2004 "9th Circus Court Award" for unrelenting shithead-ery in the judicial system's ongoing quest to show We The People its collective ass.

A snot-nosed, punk-assed 17-year-old fuckface is about to get off scot-free with snatching a lady's purse because he had the nerve to call his girlfriend and tell her about it - while the girl's mom (who pays for her upbringing) listened in on her phone (which she pays for) in her own hours (which she pays for) and took notes.

The high court ruled that a 17-year-old boy should get a new trial on purse-snatching charges. His girlfriend's mother testified that she heard him discuss the crime when she listened in on his conversation with her daughter.

The court ruled that the daughter and her boyfriend had a reasonable expectation of privacy on the phone.

Washington state law prohibits intercepting or recording conversations without the consent of all participants.

Lemme tell you bastards on that court something:  If that's my house, my phone, my phone line and my child - you're damned right  I'm gonna listen in - and I'd just like to know what the Hell™ you  assbiscuits are gonna do about it.

If you're in my  house and not paying any bills, as was the case with this slutty little bimbo, you don't have  any privacy therein.  If I'm paying for my dwelling, I'll go where I damned well please; I'll look where I damned well please and I'll listen  where I damned well please.

Come do something about it - if you think you have the 'nads.

As for this 17-year-old pansy-ass...kid, you'd best hope that the woman whose purse you stole isn't married or with boyfriend somewhere.  For some reason, I get the distinct impression that jail would have been far preferable for you than what's coming your way - if you catch my drift... (snicker)
