Final straw?

The Haloscan comment machine is down.  No idea what's going on with those folks.

I've been itching to take the Pegasus Fleet™ and high-tail it away from Planet Blogsnot at maximum warp for quite a while now.  Even though this particular problem isn't their fault, this may just be the impetus I need.

Stand by.  I need to check on some things...


UPDATE:  Obviously, HaloScan's back up, but I'm still not a happy camper...

Update the 2nd:  Uh-oh.  Houston, we have a problem:  Haloscan's not the culprit here.

My employer is.

Apparently, our IT department has firewalled Haloscan - others can hit the comments here, while I cannot, nor can I hit the Haloscan site.

So, I have two choices:  Either dial up to see the comments on the site while I'm at work, or accelerate my efforts to leave Bogsnot orbit.
