Lunch with a goddess
Those of you who know me from the Rottweiler chat room know of my - how shall I say this - extreme fondness for our resident KGB spy, Natasha of the House of Clue. So beautiful is her appearance and so right-wing is her ideology, the running joke in there is that she is Lord Spatula's Supreme Goddess.
Until now, that is.
Before spending the Thanksgiving holiday out in Florida, I had occasion to partake of lunch with another Loyal Citizen, Imperial Blogger and Glorious Lady of the Rott - Beth of Yeah, Right, Whatever.
I get to Hooters - hey now, remember to whom you're speaking (grin) - get in the door and start looking around. Whereupon this redhead with a couple boys in tow comes around the corner to greet me.
It was a damned good thing my jaw was in locked mode. Else, it would've fallen to the floor.
Oh. My. GAWD!!!!!!!!!!!! what a babe!!!!! Wore a turtleneck sweater (my weakness), jeans (very nicely filled out, too (grin)) and green eyes to absolutely die for.
After a nanosecond to collect myself, we proceeded to a table in non-smoking and proceeded to enjoy a wonderful lunchtime together. Beth's about the sweetest blogger I've ever met, and with a wonderfully conservative, pro-life ideology to boot.
Beth's hubby is One Lucky Guy. And you can quote me.
Sorry, Natasha - you've been supplanted. (grin)
