Live coverage of the 2004 vote

AT THE DALLAS GOP PARTY - Greetings, Denizens.

Along with fellow Denizen and blogger Alan Henderson, I will do my best to keep those Six Or Seven Of You Who Still Read This Rag™ apprised of what's going on here.

Here's what we have thus far:


Bush:  51% - 55.10 million votes - 274 electoral votes (Bush wins - more later)
Botox:  48% - 51.39 million votes - 221 electoral votes


Keep an eye right here.  I'll do my best to keep you updated as best I can.

Awright, Denizens, 'tis now the moment of truth.

It's up to you.  If you haven't already done so, go vote.  And vote for anyone but Demoscum.

And if you need a reason why, may I suggest you have one more look at this.

Then ask yourself - since it was a Demoscummic excuse-for-a-president who had a chance to put a stop to it and didn't,  do we really  want to entrust our future to another one?

Particularly a self-admitted war criminal who cared so much about national security that he's missed 75% of all committee meetings on the subject?  Who would rather go listen to Whopper Goldfart spew her verbal methane than receive a security briefing?  Who hates our military as much as Kaiser Wilhelm von Slickmeister, judging from how much he's trashed them in the last 30 years?

Or would you rather support the troops by giving them the commander-in-chief they prefer almost 4-to-1 - George W. Bush?

If you have functioning grey matter between your ears, this should be a no-brainer.

Go vote for W.  I did.

Major blog-tweakagery, or, Blogsnot, you &#@#@%&(#)#*^...!!!!!

The six or seven of you who still read this rag (grin) may have noticed that...uh...two-thirds of my sidebar is missing.

Don't look at me - I  didn't do it.

Looks like Bogsnot somehow managed to completely corrupt my template yesterday at last publish of the blog.

Thanks, guys. :-/

This leaves me with a couple options:  Either try to rebuild the template as best I can, or go with another template - perhaps one of the newer Bogsplat offerings, or a custom jobber of my own.

That's if  I decide to continue casting my lot with these people.  As you may or may not know, I have a backup blog here, and the Realm™ could just pull up stakes and shift everything over there.  Or we could hook up with the Munuvians - feelers are out over that way.

Watch this space.  As for you, Bogsnot... (glare)


UPDATE:  Those of you who will undoubtedly point out that "Spats, why the F do you not back up your template?" - you are exactly right.

That'll show me, I s'pose. (sigh)


Update the 2nd:  Welcome to the new template.  Will be twisting & tweaking (a little radio board-op lingo, there) for the next few days to get everything back up to speed.

Probably need to get a new banner, too. (sigh)
