PFW: The resistible force...
...meets the very movable object.
Time for another go at it, Denizens. The Perfect Football Weekend cranks up again - a bit early this week, because we're going Parrot hunting!!!
My Arlington Heights Yellow Jackets square off tonight against the Polytechnic Parrots - that's right, the Poly Parrots, and I swear I'm not making that up - tonight at 7:30. Poly is 0-for-2004, and this should be another squash.
An interesting tidbit about this game is that the schools are near-mirror images of each other. Literally - Poly High School's building is almost an exact duplicate of Heights'. (Yeah, I know, it's minutiae - I'm the King & Tyrant; humor me.)
Saturday, it's the Houston Cougars' turn to roast the TCU secondary. It'll be TCU's homecoming, and it will warm my heart for the alumni to come and give Gary Patterson an earful for continuing to play radio-talk-show-celebrity when he should be working on his defense.
Also on Saturday, Oklahoma travels to Lawrence, Kansas to whip up on the Jayhawks. Rock-Chalk-Jayhawk gets a good team once every twenty years or so - and this ain't it. OU big.
On Sunday, the Cowgirls travel to - all together now - the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field (do take note of the name, Tom D'@$$hole) to take on the Green Bay Packers. Dallas has never beaten Green Bay at Lambeau, but the Pack is winless at home this year.
Like I said - the resistible force meets the movable object.
We'll recap on Monday. Now it's your turn to rant/rave/pissmoangripebitchbitchbitch (grin) about your teams. Feel free to have at it...
