PFW:  WITY

MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - Two pieces of good news this morning:  The Vinny Testaverde era is rapidly coming to a close in Dallas.  And I scored a WITY - which, as all good Denizens know, stands for "What'd I Tell You?".

Arlington Heights 27, Dunbar 15
Oklahoma 12, Texas 0
Dallas 10, New York Football Giants 26

Dunbar scored 17 points Friday night against my Arlington Heights Yellow Jackets.  Unfortunately for them, two of those points were for us via safety.

I didn't see the Cowgirls' game Sunday, due to being in Orlando battling my stepson at Men in Black Alien Attack.   But according to some sports-talk wags, one play turned the game.  On fourth-and-inches from the New York 5, Eddie George was stuffed two yards.

Somebody please tell me again why we signed this guy? Troy Hambrick could've done the same thing for less money.

And as far as I'm concerned, if this Vinny Testaverde-led offense can't do any better than 10 points against the New York Football Giants  - go ahead and bring Drew Henson in.  Can he possibly do any worse?

On to OU-Texas.  If you will recall, I predicted this shutout.  And this is what I said:

(Incidentally, if I were Mack Brown, I'd start looking for another job. The OU defense under [Bo] Pelini is going to flat-out abuse your offense this year, Little Mac; you'll be lucky to get so much as a field goal against 'em. (snicker))

All together now:  What'd I Tell Ya???

The PFW will return Friday for another go.  However, the risk will be greater this week - TCU's playing. (sigh)
