Heterophobic Rump-Ranger 3rd Class Reginald Dwight, who for the last 35 years or so has pretended to be some flamer named "Elton John", has joined the whiny, pathetic "We're-being-censored-'cause-we're-antiwar-assbiscuits" crowd.

Elton John has said stars are scared to speak out against war in Iraq because of "bullying tactics" used by the US government to hinder free speech.

Well, I do admit that the US government is supposed to be "of the people, by the people", etc, but don't you think you're taking it to ridiculous extremes, Reggie?

The singer likened the current "fear factor" to McCarthyism in the 1950s.

Hmmmm.  Since "McCarthyism" consisted of trying to keep out of this country a political-military complex that was responsible for the deaths of over 100 million people worldwide in the last century...and since we're now battling a Religion of Peace (My Ass) that would love to take out another 200 million here...then I'm inclined to feel complimented by the comparison.

But since I know that's not what little Reggie means, I'll be content to say this:  Listen, asshat, you weren't even here  in the 1950s, so how the Hell™ do you know what went on back then, eh?
