Isabel Sanford: 1918-2004
Louise Jefferson has passed.
Isabel Sanford, who popularized the nickname "Weezie" from her fine work on the All in the Family spinoff The Jeffersons, has died in Los Angeles from natural causes. She usually played "straight gal" to Sherman Hemsley's "George Jefferson" character, although she usually managed to get one zinger in on Hemsley's character from time to time.
A very good actress will be sorely missed.
