ON THE TARMAC AT D/FW AIRPORT, HEADED BACK TO MIAMI VIA CHICAGO - After my experiences the last couple of days flying back here for Jeff Duke's funeral, which included a rather bumpy flight from Congresscritterland, then back out to Miami to spend what's left of my vacation with mi familia (minus a two-hour delay or so while we cool our jets, literally, on this tarmac)...I have come to this conclusion:
Of all the airlines that I've ever flown (Southwest, American, Delta, United), United is the second-best airline in the country.
Everyone else is tied for Number 1.
