President Ronald Wilson Reagan:  1911-2004

MIAMI - He was the greatest President of the 20th Century.  And with the possible exception of Washington, perhaps the greatest in this country's history.

America lost a national treasure today.  President Ronald Wilson Reagan died after a nearly 10-year long battle with Alzheimer's.

Reagan brought America back from the brink of disaster after the catastrophe known as the Carter excuse-for-a-presidency.  He got this country, its people and its economy to believe in themselves again after Peanuthead dragged us through a national malaise.  He brought back our military, won the Cold War against the Soviet Union, laid the groundwork for its dismantling and paved the way for the continued military superiority of the United States of America.

Spatula City BBS! mourns the passing of President Reagan, and prays that God be with Nancy, Michael and the rest of the family.

God bless you, Mr. President.  You were loved supremely, and you will be supremely missed.
