MIAMI - I'm sorry.  I just can't help but think George Steinbrenner is behind this somehow.

It's bad enough that Alex Rodriguez is right now the toast of New York - well, as long as he breaks out of his annual start-of-the-season slump sometime this century - but this  is patently ridiculous.

The highest-paid-baseball-player-ever-in-the-history-of-ever now has an actual United States quarter minted - and  colorized - with his likeness on the face of the quarter.  This travesty is being perpetrated by some we'll-do-anything-for-a-buck company called NCMint.

Now  I think I've seen everything.  Sheesh!!! :-/
