Do  be careful what you wish for...

The lapdogs in the liberal media are trying to make a big deal of this memo that supposedly says that bin Laden has been trying to attack us since 1997 or 1998.

If Karl Rove is anywhere near  worth his salt as a campaign strategist, the Donks maaaaaaaaaay  want to let this one quietly go away...

Here's why:  It says bin Laden's been trying to "bring...the fight to America" since 1997, right?

It's been established that Das Klintonreich  left the Bush Administration very little - if anything - in the way of plans to fight terrorism.

Clinton has already admitted that he knew that bin Laden "wanted to commit crimes against the United States" (his words) - so it stands to reason that he knew this information back in 1997.

This would mean that Klintoon & crew had four (4) years to do something about Osama bin Laden.  Why didn't they?!?!?!

And now,  their party wants to put someone in the White House that not only voted against financially supporting the troops - but also voted against many of the weapons systems used in toppling the Butcher of Iraq.

Memo to Karl Rove:  You need to be all over this like a duck on a June bug (ask Dubya if you're not sure of the reference).

Get moving, Rover.

UPDATE:  NewsMax gets it.

UPDATE the 2nd:  Cox & Forkum have nailed it on the head.

No, guys, it's not about bunny rabbits.

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.  His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:  And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.  He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.  And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.  And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail.  And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
