A very happy "pancakeiversary"

In all the hubbub from yesterday (you know I'm slammed when I only post one thing, and that towards the end of the day), it completely slipped our notice around here that yesterday was the one year anniversary of the untimely  (cough) demise of St. Pancake herself, Rachel Corrie.

You remember St. Pancake, right?  The "peacenik" (at least, when it came to Paleoswinians; she had no problem burning American flags, y'know) who placed herself in front - and out of the line of sight of the driver - of a bulldozer?

All this while protesting the destruction of one of the houses used to make nail bombs to kill little Israeli children.

I think that, in honor of Rachel, I'll go to IHOP today and enjoy some pancakes... (snicker)
