Write yer own ads; quit kvetching about his

This happens every four years or so; therefore, it's not really surprising.  It is,  however, highly annoying.

See Republican candidate debut campaign ad.  See Demoscum whine about ad's content.

And - more often than not - see Republican candidate cave in and pull ad.

Well, it's happening again. The Asses are trotting out their pet crybabies to bitch about the President's re-election campaign ads - and, as usual, they're succeeding in doing nothing but embarrasing the Hell™ out of themselves.

President Bush's campaign commercials – on the air just one day – have angered several relatives of Sept. 11 attack victims.  And a firefighter union that has endorsed Democratic rival John Kerry demanded the ads be pulled.

[...]

"It makes me sick," said Colleen Kelly, who lost her brother, Bill Kelly Jr., in the attacks and leads a victims families group called Peaceful Tomorrows.  "Would you ever go to someone's grave site and use that as an instrument of politics?  That truly is what Ground Zero represents to me."

Well, Colleen, you ignorant slut - what if it had been Algore in office?  Bet you'd be cheering him on for what he did, wouldn't you?

Oh, that's right - you couldn't.  Because Algore would have been on his knees begging the Islamofascists for forgiveness and mercy for our cardinal sin of breathing.

In Bal Harbour, Fla., the International Association of Fire Fighters Union approved a resolution asking the Bush campaign to pull the ads, spokesman Jeff Zack said.  The resolution also urges Mr. Bush to "apologize to the families of firefighters killed on 9-11 for demeaning the memory of their loved ones in an attempt to curry support for his re-election."

The union gave Mr. Kerry an early endorsement in the presidential race.

"Bush is calling on the biggest disaster in our country's history, and indeed in the history of the fire service, to win sympathy for his campaign," Harold Schaitberger, president of the International Association of Firefighters, which supports Mr. Kerry, said in a written statement Wednesday.

Yeah, you bastards, you'd like  us to forget about 9/11, wouldn't you?  Because not only has President Bush taken strong steps towards cleaning up that mess...it's actually your butt-buddy Kaiser Wilhelm von InternFucker at whose feet 9/11 could be laid, isn't it?  Because while he was busy getting blowjobs from interns, he was turning down multiple offers from the Sudan for bin Laden's head and bombing aspirin factories - wasn't he, you fucknozzled sons-of-Commie bitches?

Yeah, I can understand you not wanting Bush to talk about his record, alright.

In the first  place, you stupid-assed union fucks, it's not a "disaster".  It's not a "national tragedy".  IT'S AN ENEMY ATTACK ON OUR SOIL, JUST LIKE PEARL HARBOR 60 YEARS PRIOR!!!!!

There.  We clear on that?

Secondly, your homie Der Kaiser could've put a stop to it, like I said.  Instead, he was too busy sticking a cigar into an intern's pussy to be bothered with it.

So don't give me any of this bullshit about how Bush doesn't have the right to run on his War on Terrorism record.  To use an especially appropriate aphorism...if you can't stand the heat, stay the Hell™ out of the kitchen.

Karen Hughes & Karl Rove would be wise this year to let the GOP re-election team write the ads, and not some smarmy little pisspot Demoscum assholes who are more concerned with Bush National Guard dental records than they are with our national security.

Marlin Maddoux:  1933-2004

Christian radio talk-show legend Marlin Maddoux has passed.  He was 70.

I was a courier back in the late '80s and early '90s.  I'd be out on the road all day long, and one of the things I'd listen to was KVTT, 91.7 on the Dallas FM dial.

From 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. every day, there would be Marlin Maddoux and Kerby Anderson.  They would pontificate on issues religious and secular, always from a Christian point-of-view.  Listening to them encouraged and inspired me to become involved in the daily debate.

Thus, when I first entered the online world, I immediately became involved.  It is not a stretch to say that this very blog is due, in some small measure, to Marlin Maddoux's influence.

Spatula City BBS! extends its heartfelt condolences and best wishes to the Maddoux family.  We'll miss Marlin dearly.

When you start pointing fingers...

Remember your mother's admonition about pointing fingers?  "When you point a finger, sonny, you always have three fingers pointing back at you..."

The Palm Beach, Florida district attorney has been pointing fingers at Rush Limbaugh now for a few months, accusing him of abusing OxyContin and some ludicrous charge of "doctor shopping" (what, has it suddenly become illegal to get second and third opinions?).

But oh, ho - what do we have here?  Drudge has uncovered that a Palm Beach judge has a little "problem" of his own...

Within the last 18 months, Palm Beach County Judge Robert Schwartz was "involuntarily retired" and removed after he checked himself into a treatment center for dependency of the painkiller OxyContin -- the same drug at the center of the Limbaugh probe.

"He was severely addicted to prescription pain killers," an insider tells the DRUDGE REPORT.  "He probably got them from a variety of sources.  But unlike Rush Limbaugh, he was never prosecuted!  His records do not appear to have been seized nor were his doctors’ offices raided.  Talk about friend of the court!"

[...]

Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer refused to comment Friday on the Judge Schwartz/Limbaugh confusion.

Gee.  I wonder why???

Hypocrisy, looks like thy name is Barry Krischer. Asshat.
