Baylor:  Southern Baptist Compromise U.

When the conservative faction of the Southern Baptist Convention took back control of the denomination 20 years ago, one institution that resisted was the Convention's university, Baylor.  The liberals in the Convention maintained control of the academia.

Thus, it should come as no surprise that young skulls full of shit mush who attend Baylor should eventually come around to caring more about pleasing man, rather than God.

At least, that's the way it appears from reading this editorial from the morons on the Baylor paper's editorial board:

For the past few weeks, San Francisco city workers have been working overtime, volunteering their services to help process marriage licenses for more than 3,200 gay couples who have flocked to the city after Mayor Gavin Newsom announced it would give marriage licenses to gay couples on Feb. 12.

Yes, you twits, and you'll notice that all 3,000+ "licenses" are INVALID - because they run counter to California state law.  Or did you forget the Biblical admonition about submitting to those in authority over you?

Back in California, San Francisco city lawyers filed a lawsuit against the state, arguing local government officials are allowed to advance their own interpretations of state constitutions.

Rather than simply taking it at face value, you dumbasses?  Why, therefore, am I not surprised that you liberal shits would side with them, since you want to interpret God's Word any damned way you please?  These are kindred spirts with you, after all!

I mean, you guys are  the liberal shits who preach "priesthood of the believer" aren't you?  Aren't you???

The city also is asking Superior Court Judge James Warren to declare unconstitutional sections of the California Family Code defining marriage as a union of a man and a woman, the AP reported. San Francisco officials believe barring gay marriages violates the equal protection and due process clauses of the state constitution.

And it does no such thing.  So-called "sexual orientation" is not a protectable class, such as race or skin color.  For you, or anyone else, to equate sexual preference, which is eminently changeable, with skin color that is not, shows the height of abject stupidity on your part.

The editorial board supports San Francisco's lawsuit against the state.  Taking into account equal protection under the law, gay couples should be granted the same equal rights to legal marriage as heterosexual couples.

Let's forget for a second that no such discrimination exists.  I'm a heterosexual male, and I can't marry another male, either.  Where the Hell™ is the discrimination?

But taking into account that the God you supposedly serve  says that what they're doing is an abomination, would you mind telling me why the fuck  you bastards are suddenly more interested in pleasing heterophobes than pleasing God?  Hm???

Without such recognition, gay couples, even those who have co-habitated long enough to qualify as common law spouses under many state laws, often aren't granted the same protection when it comes to shared finances, health insurance and other employee benefits, and property or power of attorney rights.

That's right,  shitheads!  And it's because they're not entitled  to those benefits!

Like many heterosexual couples, many gay couples share deep bonds of love, some so strong they've persevered years of discrimination for their choice to co-habitate with and date one another.

No, you dumb fucks, that's not love  these sodomites are sharing.  It's lust,  pure and simple.  One would hope that, by now, you'd've learned the difference - but that's what you get when you let those who are blind try to lead those who are blind:  Both fall into the ditch.

Just as it isn't fair to discriminate against someone for their skin color, heritage or religious beliefs, it isn't fair to discriminate against someone for their sexual orientation.

Absolutely it's fair.  Sodomites are defined by what they do,  not what they are.  And religious beliefs are protected by the Constitution - one guy fucking another in the ass isn't.
