Who got to them...?

Item:  Last week, as the Kerry intern scandal hit the 'Net and the Blogosphere - and I say that because it sure as Hell™ didn't hit the airwaves - the father of the intern came out and called John-Boy Fuckface KetchupAss a "sleazeball".  He said - and I quote:

“I think he’s a sleazeball.  I did kind of wonder if my daughter didn’t get that kind of feeling herself.  He’s not the sort of guy I would choose to be with my daughter.”

For her part, the mother claimed that KetchupAss was "after her" to be on his campaign.

Item:  Today, those same parents are quoted as saying this:

"We have spoken to our daughter and the allegations that have been made regarding her are completely false and unsubstantiated. We love and support her 100 percent and these unfounded rumors are hurtful to our entire family. We appreciate the way Senator Kerry has handled the situation, and intend on voting for him for president of the United States."

I have just one question:  Who got to them?  Which Demoscummic mobster took them aside and leaned on them?  Threatened them, perhaps?

Inquiring minds want to know.  Inquiring minds also think said goons are pansy-asses who would piss in their pants if they had to face someone without their guns or their buddies - but that's another post...
