If I had a nickel for every time some liberal asshat whined something resembling "Where's the WMDs??? Waaaaaaaah!!!"..."Bush lied about why we went to war!!!"..."This war is for Bush's Halliburton friends!!!"..."BUSH LIED PEOPLE DIED!!!!!"...then I'd be a very  rich man.

Now here comes David Kay, giving the Donks even more ammunition against the President.  Count Mr. Kay in the camp of those tools who don't think that WMDs will ever be found in Iraq.  If the pattern holds, this will renew all the accusations that Bush got us into a war over nothing.

As conservatives, we get damned tired of having to explain some things to the appeaseniks.  But I'll try again.  This'll be the Cliffs Notes version, since I realize the attention span of the average liberal shit is half a nano-second...

First, we already know Saddam had these weapons - he used them on his own people.  We've seen the pictures of the aftermath.

When the Desert Storm coalition signaled their cease-fire in Iraq thirteen years ago, they did so provisionally.  Among those provisions were that Hussein had to not only destroy his weapons of mass destruction, he had to provide documentation of having done so, and provide physical evidence that he had done so.  If Saddam Hussein refused to abide by even one of these conditions, the Coalition reserved the right to resume hostilities.

Remember that.  It's important.

The UN sent inspectors in to ascertain Saddam's compliance.  Hussein procrastinated, stalled, and ultimately threw out the inspectors.  The UN passed 12 resolutions demanding that Hussein comply.  Saddam refused.

The UN passed one final resolution, 1441.  It ordered Saddam Hussein to comply with the other 12 resolutions or else face serious consequences.

Saddam ignored the resolution.

Hence, the United States, the leaders of the original Coalition, exercised the only option left to them.  They reopened hostilities and removed Saddam Hussein from power, and ultimately from the country of Iraq.

This is not a new war.  This is the continuation of the old one.  Operation Iraqi Freedom is nothing more than the resumption of Operation Desert Storm.  That the United States decided to rename it is of zero consequence whatsoever.

As for the WMDs?  The asshatted claims that we hadn't found any?

Sorry, boys - we already have.  That you  foolishly say that we haven't doesn't mean shit.
