And I thought I  didn't take losing well

From the department of "Guy, Get a Grip", we have this entry from Palm Beach, Florida, about a guy who lost a Christmas lights competition and reacted...well, let's just say he didn't take it too well...


A friendly Christmas lights competition at Parkside Apartments turned nasty Monday when one of the also-rans "became enraged" at his loss and pulled several lights from the winner's display, according to Martin County sheriff's reports.


"Friendly"??? (snicker)


Light-contest winner Donna Simmons-Groover told deputies a neighbor who thought he should have won ripped out some of her lights and unplugged two extension cords.

She said a witness told her the neighbor also tore down his own display "in a rage" and threw the decorations in a heap in a common area behind the apartment building.


Y'know, I hate losing more than the average "next guy" - but this is just plain silly... (rolls eyes)

This is not  what they mean by "one in the oven"...

As bad a mother as I may think Steffi the Doublewide Bitch Supreme is, she's not stupid enough try to make a souffle out of Skip, as this stupid bitch in Sweden tried to do this week:


A five-month-old baby boy remains hospitalized after allegedly being placed inside a hot oven by his own mother who is now in custody.

Agence France-Presse reports the child is in a Swedish hospital, suffering second-degree burns all over his body from the incident which took place last weekend.

The incident reportedly took place on Sunday, and the boy's 30-year-old mother was arrested two days later as police grew suspicious that she had intentionally inflicted the injuries.


Oh, really? Pray tell, what was it that tipped off the obtuse asshats, eh? I mean, the phrase "one in the oven" usually  refers to a baby in a slightly  different way.

This woman doesn't need to be in a mental ward. This woman needs to be six feet under.
