Why is Terri Cox's birthday significant?
I said yesterday that I would explain the significance of Terri Cox's 41st birthday.
It is this: It comes one day before the birthday of a very lovely woman named Darla Addison Young. Darla was born November 14th, 1962.
"Okay, Spatula-butt", you're saying, "so what?"
Well, the significance of Darla's birthday is that she shares it, right down to the year...with me.
That's right, Denizens. I'm 41 today. Whoop-de-freakin'-doo.
Anyway, I'm taking the day off as a result. Not just from work, but from this (but don't worry, Homorrhoid, I'm still checking comments, and deleting yours). Besides, I'm working on something pretty big, and I need a little time to finish it.
Anyway, I have extracted from the Grab Bag today an oldie-but-goodie: My "Ellipsi Rant" column from one year ago today, analyzing last year's GOP squash of the Demoscum.
It's good stuff, even if I do say so myself. You can find it by clicking here.
Enjoy.
