The Demoscum are reportedly attempting to use classified information against the White House next year in an attempt to gain back power:


"SUMMARY: Intelligence issues are clearly secondary to the public's concern regarding the insurgency in Iraq. Yet we have an important role to play in revealing the misleading, if not flagrantly dishonest, methods and motives of senior administration officials who made the case for unilateral preemptive war.

"The approach outlined above seems to offer the best prospect for exposing the administration's dubious motives."


I'm not going to take the time to Fisk this. I'm merely going to say this:


If this is the case, the time is rapidly approaching to throw the Demoscum out of power, whereever they may be.

I didn't say vote them out. I said throw  them out.

By whatever means we may find necessary.

And if that means taking out the scumbag constituency who support these treasonous bastards...so much the better.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Demoscum, you are begging to have us decide that enough is enough, and to decide to take you out.

Literally.

You are pleading for another Civil War. We are about ready to oblige you.

Only this time, we'll finish the job.

CBS - Chickenshit Broadcasting System... (snicker)

We did it. CBS pulled the plug on the Reagan hit piece:


"CBS will not broadcast THE REAGANS on November 16 and 18. This decision is based solely on our reaction to seeing the final film, not the controversy that erupted around a draft of the script.


Translation: "We don't have the cash reserves to withstand the hit our pocketbooks would take from airing this bullshit."


Although the mini-series features impressive production values and acting performances, and although the producers have sources to verify each scene in the script, we believe it does not present a balanced portrayal of the Reagans for CBS and its audience. Subsequent edits that we considered did not address those concerns.


"We got caught lying about the greatest President of the 20th Century - and try as we might, there's not enough Tarn-X or Oxi-Clean on the planet to remove the sludge."


A free broadcast network, available to all over the public airwaves, has different standards than media the public must pay to view. We do, however, recognize and respect the filmmakers' right to have their voice heard and their film seen. As such, we have reached an agreement to license the exhibition rights for the film to Showtime, a subscriber-based, pay-cable network. We believe this is a solution that benefits everyone involved.


"We figure Showtime's already on the way down the cable tubes anyway, so it won't hurt them to lose subscribers as much as it'd hurt us to lose viewers and advertisers."


This was not an easy decision to make. CBS does tackle controversial subjects and provide tough assessments of prominent historical figures and events, as we did with films such as 'Jesus,' '9-11' and 'Hitler.' We will continue to do so in the future."

We can pat ourselves on the back. The network of Blather has just realized that it had its pants down...mheh.

PFW: Nebraska, please  fire Frank Solich...

They say two out of three ain't bad.

"They" weren't in Austin Saturday.

AHHS finishes undefeated for the first time in - again, guys, anyone who knows differently please correct me - 23 years...in other words, my junior year in "hah skrewl" (a little Rush lingo, there).

We play Western Hills this week for the District 7-4A championship. Earlier this year, Heights barely won over Hills, 34-33 - so, if Hills has found a placekicker, this game's gonna scare the Hell™ out of me.

Dallas looked positively sick in the first quarter of the Washington game, and even fell behind briefly, 0-6. Had they been playing anyone  else, they'd've been blown away.

Fortunately, they were playing the Deadskins, where Steve Spurrier (or, as we've always called him at home, Steve Superior) is proving on a weekly basis that he's not an NFL coach. Once the 'Boys settled down, the expected squash came about as expected.

Now, on to the Austin debacle.

Y'know, I thought 41-24 in Missouri a couple of weeks ago was a fluke.

Now, I'm not so sure. For a long time now, I've been convinced that TCU head coach Gary Patterson is not an NCAA Division I head coach. But I'm convinced beyond the proverbial shadow of a doubt that he's head & shoulders over Nebraska coach Frank Solich.

I mean, look. Texas. Ain't. That. Great. Mack Brown is a fairly decent recruiter, but he can't coach worth shit. Four straight dominations at the hands of Bob Stoops and the University of Oklahoma should be proof of that.

A good defense leaves the Tea-sips running home to Mommy with their tails between their legs. Nebraska's defense...didn't. Failed to show, in fact.

And that was just the defense. Teams all year long have been able to run up the gut on the Tea-sip efense (no, no typo, TU has no D). Frank Solich spent way too much time running the option until they got down big, then started trying to throw with a quarterback who clearly can't.

Let the first call for Solich's head on a platter be resounded from the Realm. Whoever is the Nebraska AD right now - please  fire Frank Solich, and replace him with a bona fide  Division I coach.

Hell - time it just right, and Steve Superior may be needing a job shortly...
