Bastard had it coming to him, if you ask me...

Lost in the ruination of my PFW last weekend was a post-game incident that led to the decking of a Missouri fan and the suspension of the Nebraska Cornhusker player that decked him.


KOMU managing editor Randy Reeves said the video shows the player "decking" a Missouri fan when the two crossed paths. The player continued running toward the Nebraska locker room while Missouri quarterback Brad Smith helped the fan get up off the ground.


I've seen the video, and in the split second before the guy gets decked, it looks suspiciously like he's taunting the Nebraska guy.

But even so - what the hell's the punk doing on the field anyway? You go to the local pizza parlor to celebrate the victory like that - you don't  go on the field, and especially  not while players are still headed back to the dressing room. How many times do PA announcers implore the crowd to stay off the field during a game, and then this bozo goes and does it while the players are still there?! And  pissed-off players, at that???

Guy got what was coming to him. You try to show up a guy after he just lost a game he shouldn't have, you deserve what you're gonna get. Guy probably should've had at least one limb busted up, too.

If this guy gets whacked, will it be foul  play...?

I didn't watch the game last night, so I didn't see what happened.

But if this guy's a Cubs fan, he would do very  well to lay low for a while. In other words, for the rest of his life.
