Yet more evidence...

...that Tom Hicks needs to stay the hell away from the operations side of sports. (Yes, Tom Hicks is a big player in UT athletics, and he was instrumental in getting Mack Brown down here)

Anyone else besides me convinced that Mack Brown, when it comes to playing Oklahoma, can't coach his way out of a friggin' paper sack?

Not that I care about UT, understand, but I don't like Oklahoma, and I personally think Bob Stoops is an ass.

And I think Mack Brown is an incompetent boob who - should he lose the A&M game come Thanksgiving (and don't rule out the possibility) - should be run out of Austin on a rail.

And you can quote me.

PFW recap: Rush is right again - McNabb is  overrated...

No PFW this weekend, and the reason behind the reason why is surprising.

First, the good stuff:

Arlington Heights 24, Eastern Hills 12
TCU 13, South Florida 10
Dallas 23, Ph**kadelphia 21

TCU continues to perform poorly on offense, but the defense continues to step up. They're gonna need that in the coming weeks.

And chalk up yet another SITYS for Rush Limbaugh: Donovan McNabb is  overrated. Dallas' defense did a great job containing McCrybaby, and in fact, sacked him and recovered the ensuing fumble on the Beagles' final drive. So, The Greatest Black Quarterback in the History of Black Quarterbackness loses out on his chance to dunk over the crossbar again.

Breaks. My. Friggin'. Heart.

Mheh.

Now, the reason this this wasn't a PFW was, of course, Nebraska, which lost to Missouri.

It's how  they lost which is amazing.

The final score was 24-41. Yeah, 41.

Nebraska's defense is supposed to be the heart of this team. What the hell happened, Solich? Did you bring Craig Bohl back for a game, or what?

(sigh) We'll start a new streak next week.
