The PFW: Going for two in a row...

It's that time again, sportz fanz.

Arlington Heights sneaked up on me Thursday night and defeated Brewer High, 27-24. This is especially good, because I'm not a Brewer fan. Boo-yah!!! (grin)

Nebraska and the Cowboys are off this week, so it's up to TCU. And this week, the Horned Frogs are at home against Vanderbilt.

I don't know about this one. Vanderbilt lost by only three against what's supposed to be a decent Ole Miss team. They crushed little Chattanooga, then themselves got plastered against Auburn.

Plus, TCU QB Tye Gunn is out, leaving the duties this week to junior Brandon Hassell - who has, if memory serves, never taken a snap in a major college football game.

I can't handicap this one. I'd like to think TCU has a shot, but who knows?

Who's more spineless - the fined Demoscum cowards or the GOP milquetoasts who won't enforce the fines...?

While the 11 chickenshit Texas Demoscum, led by Royce Wuss and Leticia Van de Piss, were busy working on their tans during their taxpayer-money-wasting vacation in New Mexico, the Republicans who stayed behind so they could try to get some work done were busy trying to figure out how to properly pillory pillage thrash bitch-slap punish discipline their wayward counterparts. They came up with great ideas like taking away their primo parking spaces at the Capitol, banishing their policy hacks aides from the Senate floor - and, last but not least, fining each of them $57,000 for the 30 days they missed during the second special session.

Only now, the linguini-spined Republimilquetoasts aren't gonna even try to collect those fines from the Donk chickenshits for wasting our hard-earned tax dollars:


Senate Republicans on Thursday put their Democratic colleagues on "probation" for boycotting a special session last month, infuriating the Democrats and deepening partisan divisions in the chamber.


Probation. A slap on the fuckin' wrist. IOW, a namby-pamby promise that, if the Cowardcrats will stay, play tiddlywinks and not walk again, the GOP won't take the ultimate step of sitting down, Indian-style, sticking out their lower lips and pouting.


While Republicans lifted the fines and penalties that had been imposed on the runaway Democrats, their decision to place the 11 senators on probationary status until January 2005 provoked outrage from most of the Democrats, who vowed to respond in due time.


Outraged? OUTRAGED?!?!? Oh, the humanity! The horror!!! WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN (tm)????

Lemme tell you pissants something: You're having a minor snit compared to what some of us are feeling towards you right about now, you cowardly fucks.


"We were illegally fined in the first place and now we have been illegally placed on probation," said Sen. Leticia Van de Putte of San Antonio, who denounced the Senate action with six other minority senators at a Capitol news conference.


Who the fuck are you to talk about what's illegal or not illegal when you VIOLATED SENATE RULES AND YOUR OATH OF OFFICE BY RUNNING AWAY LIKE A CHICKENSHIT, VAN DE PISS, YOU STUPID BINT?!?!?!!!

Now this is actually true. Fact is, while they were on their little junket, THEY WEREN'T REPRESENTING ANYBODY!!!

They have the gall to accuse Republicans of disenfranchising minorities when they went and disenfranchised all their constituents?!


This is a slap in the face to Hispanic and African-American Texans," said Ms. Van de Putte, chairwoman of the Senate Democratic Caucus.

The Senate resolution setting aside the fines and putting the Democrats on probation was approved on a 13-10 vote. While on probation, any Democrat absent for more than 72 hours without being excused would be slapped with the fines and penalties.


Oh, my Gawd. That'll show 'em!!!


Republican Sen. Jeff Wentworth of San Antonio, the only member of his party to vote against the resolution, said he preferred a smaller fine and no probation for the Democrats.


Well, at least his spine is a little firmer than cooked spaghetti.

Debate on the resolution was starting to heat up on the Senate floor until Sen. Chris Harris, R-Arlington, made a motion to end the discussion and have an immediate vote on the proposal. That move prevented Democrats from offering any amendments, including one that would have eliminated probationary status for the Democrats.


Good move, Mr. Harris, and - if you ask me - a precedent for any Demoscum-sponsored bill for the next eleven years - one year for each individual Cowardcrat.


When Sen. Gonzalo Barrientos, D-Austin, rose after the vote to give a "personal privilege" speech against the action, Mr. Harris and several other Republicans walked out of the chamber. Mr. Barrientos then decided not to speak.


Is that all it takes to shut up a Donk?

Hell, why didn't we think of that before???


Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, who favored doing away with the fines and penalties, tried to play down the partisan divisions while complimenting Republican senators for coming up with a way to deal with the issue.


Dewhurst, you weenie, do your constituents a favor and take a page from the playbook of one of your predecessors. Bob Bullshit Bullock would've cut his enemies off at the knees.

"The Senate, I think, acted wisely today," said Mr. Dewhurst, a Republican. "The Senate had a choice of either maintaining and collecting the fines, or being magnanimous by putting this issue behind us. I compliment the senators who voted to put this behind us."


Yeah, well, dumbass - they're not supposed to try to please you, they're supposed to try to please us. And we're none too pleased with any of you right now.

But Democrats asserted they did have the right to leave, and some hinted they would not hesitate to leave again if the circumstances called for it.
"If that was the only way I could kill a bill I felt that strongly about, I would break quorum in a minute," said Sen. Rodney Ellis, D-Houston.


Then you'd best have a helluva lot of assclown Demoscum protecting you, asshole, because some of us have had enough of your bullshit and will come dump your ugly ass back into Senate chambers - conscious or not...


Mr. Barrientos called the Republican action "a sad day for Texas."

"Never have I seen such an abuse of power in the government of the people of Texas," said Mr. Barrientos, who has served in the Legislature for three decades.


Oh, so you don't consider running roughshod over Republicans 12 years ago while you were gerrymandering the state to protect your butt-buddy Martin Frost to be an "abuse of power", you pea-brained fucknozzle?


"This is not over. I don't care what my [Republican] colleagues or the lieutenant governor says."

Sen. Frank Madla, D-San Antonio, said the episode left him disheartened. "The last time I was treated the way we were today on the Senate floor was when I was about 6 years old and came to first grade. I was a little Mexican boy who had his first taste of what white supremacy was like," he said. "I think what you saw on the Senate floor today was just that."


You mean when the white teacher wouldn't let you have another cookie on top of the 15 you'd already had, you sniveling wussy-boy?

Sen. Kyle Janek, R-Houston, proposed the resolution, arguing it would uphold the Republicans' original position that the Democrats had no right to boycott the special session while doing away with the burdensome fines and penalties that included loss of parking.


No, Janek, what it does is reinforce that you pissweasels have all the spine of an Olive Garden pasta dish. What you should've done is refuse the Cowardcrats any floor privileges, save voting and introducing bills, until each and every one of them had ponied up that $57,000. That's what men & women of principle would've done.

But I guess that's asking too damned much of the average Republican nowadays, isn't it...?
