More assnuggetry from Bolton the crybaby...
Remember a couple weeks ago I talked about the fired (gawd, it feels so good to say that) Dallas police queef, Terrible Terrell Bolton? (Link only partially working; click on it and do a find for "Bad baseball team".)
Well, a little provision in the Dallas city charter dictates that a fired city official is entitled - damn, I hate that word - to a "hearing". That hearing happens to be today.
Terrell Bolton says he'll try to clean his image Monday,
Well, in that case, I hope he has one helluva big tub of Oxi Clean. I think Billy Mays would take a look at this stain, turn and run like hell.
and the former Dallas police chief could also air some of the city's dirty laundry.
"I was the police chief. I know more secrets than the mayor," he said. "My knowledge is vast and pervasive. So if they want to talk about some of Dallas' little secrets, bring it on and let's have some fun."
Oh, let's. You can start by telling everyone why you triple-friggin'-promoted people who weren't qualified to your command staff over well-qualified people who were already there. Then you can tell us the exact role you played in the scandal regarding enforcement - or should we say lack of enforcement? - of the Dallas sexually oriented business ordinances? Particularly where it concerns a guy by the name of Nick Rizos and the now-extinct club Caligula XXI? Hmmmmmmmmmmm?
And then you can top it all off by telling us why your thoughtful, considered answer to the fact that we lead the nation in crime...was a frickin' rolling roadblock.
What was that, assmunch? I can't heeeeeear youuuuuuuuuuu!!!
City Manager Ted Benavides fired Mr. Bolton, the city's first black police chief, on Aug. 26.
And the moron did it about three years after he should've.
The former chief requested a hearing before the City Council, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday. His lawyer, Bob Hinton, said he would ask for a financial settlement.
See, sports fans, this is what it's all about, right here. As Jim Schutze correctly points out, according to the city charter, the council cannot hire or fire the chief of police. That little chore falls directly within the purview of the city manager. Period. And if they can't hire him, then the council sure as Hell (tm) can't reinstate him, now can they?
No, this is nothing but a half-assed attempt at extortion. And it's the same damn thing the black community has been pulling for years, starting with the rrrRev'r'nnnnnnnnd JACK's'nnnnnnnn, all the way down to John Whiney Price, Lee Alcorn-y, Diane Rags-dull and the rest of the so-called "black leadership".
What's gonna happen today is that Terrible Terry and John Whiney are gonna round up all their rowdy friends (a little Hank, Jr. lingo, there), come to City Hall and try to intimidate the City Council into doing something that the Dallas city charter clearly says they can't do! I don't know about you, but where I grew up, that was called "extortion".
Ms. Miller and other council members are against a settlement or revised pension for Bolton.
"There will be no additional money given to the chief that I'm aware of," she said. "I don't see any support for that."
Damn right there isn't. I'm not a fan of hers - yes, sports fans, she's a liberal - but she got her head screwed on straight on this issue.
"Terrible Twos" Terry Bolton needs to pull his head out of his ass and realize: 1) he did a shitty job of overseeing law enforcement here, 2) he didn't have a clue as to what was going on, and 3) that's why his sorry ass was fired. He had that job a helluva lot longer than he deserved it, and he ought to be grateful for that, instead of continuing to cry about it.
