Baa Baa Sandy Sheep, have you any whine...?

BaaBaa Streisand, the Nose that Honks, is pissed that The Reagans won't be forced on the populace at large...

I am deeply disappointed that CBS, the network that in 1964 gave me complete artistic control in creating television specials,

Which would explain why few of them lasted beyond a second season - that is, if  they even made it that far...

now caved in to right wing Republican pressure to cancel the network broadcast of the movie The Reagans.

Aw, boo-hoo-fuckin'-hoo, Babs, baby. Cry me a freakin' river, why don't you? With that  schnozz, it shouldn't be too hard...

(And I say MOVIE - because this is NOT a documentary - it's a television drama.)

Then tell me why they won't flash a runner every 10 minutes advising the sheeple whom you want to watch this shit, that it's FICTION - it's what you WISH Ronaldus Magnus had been like, so your BLEATING about him could've been at least halfway accurate? Why won't you bastards ADVERTISE that your crock o' shit is exactly that - shit???

The movie will now be aired on Showtime, where the difference in viewership is in the millions.

And however many sheeple still wind up watching it, it's too many. Fact is, this bullshit should never have been made in the first place...

One can only imagine the kind of pressure that would compel CBS to take such an extraordinary action.

One word, BaaBaa, honey: "Financial". Your lapdogs in HellishlyWeird still pay attention to one color - green.

This was an organized Republican spin machine at work. Remember the Dixie Chicks controversy? It wasn't the larger general public that called in to radio stations and burned CDs, it was a small group of right wing activists.

Yeah - it's called a listening audience,  Babs, baby. You piss 'em off, you can expect them to not want to listen to your shit.

Which reminds me - when was the last time you  had a hit single...?

In fact, now the band is more popular than ever, with a sold out summer tour.

Got news for you, bitch: It doesn't take a "larger general public" to sell out an arena. It takes between fifteen and twenty thousand, out of what usually is a city of over 300,000.

Do the math. And don't write any crib notes on that nose...

I don't believe Democrats often, if ever, try to muscle the First Amendment like this.

Try telling that to the late Robert Casey, pro-life former governor of Pennsylvania, who twice was denied permission to speak at the 1992 Demoscummic National Whiners Convention, despite being governor of the fifth-largest state.

Try telling that to every single woman your honeyboy Kaiser Wilhelm von Skirtchaser ever sexually assaulted.

Tell it to Vince Foster.

Better yet, just STFU, bitch.

[UPDATE: Loyal Citizens Alan K Henderson and Cheshirecat make the excellent point (better than mine, in fact) that Dr. Laura Schlessinger and Rush Limbaugh are probably the pre-eminent victims of the Left's "muscling" of the First Amendment. Bravo, guys.]

For example, in 1983, no one stopped NBC from airing Kennedy, a biopic that portrayed President Kennedy and other members of his family and administration as deeply flawed, even though the movie could have potentially been hurtful to Jackie Kennedy, who was still alive to see it, as well as to her children.

As I recall, Kennedy got a pass from you media whores in Hollywood. I don't remember that picture as being anything but a puff piece.

But what do I know? I'm just an average citizen who knows bullshit when it's being shoveled at him...

This is censorship, pure and simple. Well, maybe not all that pure.

And maybe not all that "censorship". Identify, Schnozzola, the government entity responsible for threatening action against the Chickenshit Broadcasting System, please?

Take your time. I'll wait.

Censorship never is. Due to their experience with the restrictive English government, the framers of our constitution specifically included a ban on prior restraint in the First Amendment, which is an attempt to stop information from getting out there before the public has a chance to see it at all - exactly what is going on in this case.

It prevents government  from doing that, Schnozz. It doesn't  prevent the citizenry from advising a left-wing, pro-Marxist broadcasting company that there will be consequences if they continue to bash a beloved figure who can no longer defend himself.

Oh, but that's why you waited this long to do that, isn't it? Because you bastards didn't think this many people would come running to Ronaldus Magnus' defense?

Uh huh.

Of course, CBS as a company has the legal right to make decisions about what they do and do not air. However, these important decisions should be based on artistic integrity rather than an attempt to appease a small group of vocal dissidents. Indeed, today marks a sad day for artistic freedom - one of the most important elements of an open and democratic society.

Gee, I hope you'll remember these high-sounding words the next time one of us decides to tell the truth in an actual  documentary about your honeyboy Der Kaiser.

But I'm not holding my breath, eh, Schnozz, you liberal media slut?

Curbing the baby-butchers...

For us in the pro-life movement, this day has been a long time in coming.

For today, President Bush signs the bill banning partial-birth abortion.

Naturally, the pro-death baby-butchers are apopletic:

"He is becoming the first president in our nation's history to sign a law criminalizing a medical procedure," said Kate Michelman, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. "He is also the first president to sign a law criminalizing abortion."

Oh, this would be the "medical procedure" about which you don't even want parents to know, isn't it, Michelman, you dumb-assed bint? You have to get a parent's permission to distribute so much as an aspirin in the schools, or at a clinic - but when it comes to killing a baby, the less known, the better - right, you fucking pro-death whore?

Mr. Bush told reporters last week that he looks forward to signing the anti-abortion bill, but he played down its possible long-term impact.

"I don't think the culture has changed to the extent that the American people or the Congress would totally ban abortions," Mr. Bush said.

Shrub, the original "culture" was pro-slavery and wasn't in favor of what Lincoln did - at least, not down here. Nor was the "culture" in favor of integrated schools - but both came about, and rightly so.

You might remember that when talking about the pro-death "culture" and what it supposedly wants.

Three years ago, the Supreme Court struck down a Nebraska law against the late-term procedures. The 5-4 majority called the law too vague and noted that it did not contain an exception for the health of the woman.

"Too vague"??? When you bastards define "health" as physical or mental, or psychological  in nature? By your  definition, a woman could use a hangnail as an excuse to execute her baby, and you pricks would say it's okay!

Nancy Northup, president of the Center For Reproductive Rights, said the new federal law suffers from the same problem.

"There is no provision for the health of the woman," said Ms. Northup, whose New York-based organization is involved in the Nebraska lawsuit. "And the language is so broad, it would encompass abortions as early as 12 weeks."

And that's still  twelve weeks too late, trollop!

All nine of the Democrats seeking the White House have pledged to nominate judges who support abortion rights. Those who attend Wednesday's forum in Manchester, N.H., sponsored by Planned Parenthood, are expected to criticize Mr. Bush's decision to sign the late-term abortion bill.

Yeah, well - none of these asshats are expected to pose any sort of serious challenge to the Bush re-election, so what's the point...?

Gloria Feldt, president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the organization's political arm, said potential election issues include not only reproductive rights, but women's health issues and access to family planning help, birth control, and sex education.

That's news to me. That is, it's news that Planned Abortionhood even considers itself to offer to do anything other than kill the baby.

You've lost the fight, you pro-death bastards! GET OVER IT!!!
